After 18 years (!!) of blogging at philosophyetc.net, I’m ready to try something new. The old platform was no longer well-supported, and created a lot of friction for commenters, so I hope this new one makes engagement easier. (I’ve heard good things about it.) Past email subscribers should be automatically carried across. New readers are invited to click this button:
(Though there’s also an RSS feed if you prefer that.)
I’ve copied over a couple of recent posts from my old blog to get things started. Over the coming weeks, I plan to revisit some favourite topics from my archives, rewriting them to be more self-contained and comprehensible to new readers. We’ll see how it goes. If you like what you see, and think others might too, consider sending some Good Thoughts their way!
A new beginning
As an occasional reader of your old blog, I was a little sad to see it discontinued, since I think linking to previous posts allowed it to engage with topics more deeply - no need to get bogged down in things that are relevant, but already touched upon elsewhere.
(That said, the throughput so far certainly makes up for this.)
